Shopping Handmade Jewellery Online

Updated: Mar 2, 2022

My Marlay Park studio remains open for business and I'm welcoming new and returning customers everyday, but now more than ever, my customers will be shopping with me online.

I would like to show you what to expect when shopping online with me. Here’s my quick guide.

First of all I’m delighted that so many people are visiting my online shop. Shopping for handmade jewellery online can feel risky if you’ve never seen my work in person, but I’ve tried to make it as simple and easy as possible for my customers. I personally love shopping online, it means I can look at the product in detail and for much longer and from the comfort of your own home!

All jewellery is categorised by Necklaces, Earrings, Rings, Bracelets etc, gold and silver. You can also filter by gemstone and even wedding anniversary. There's also a handy price range category for gifts.

Each piece has the exact measurements in the description as well as a video which is a great way of getting an idea of scale.

You will receive free shipping worldwide on your order, there’s no minimum spend. I always appreciate free shipping, no matter what the cost of the order. There’s nothing worse, I find, than being stuck with additional shipping cost right at the end of the checkout!

After you place your order with free shipping, you will receive a confirmation email. I then get to work on your order, but most of the time it’s already in stock.

When your piece is made, your order will be shipped by An Post and you receive a tracking number in your dispatch email.

Your delivery will come in a sturdy kraft cardboard box filled with tissue paper for protection.

Inside you will find your new piece of handmade jewellery, packaged in Rachel’s beautiful grey and gold boxes. You can reuse or recycle the packaging afterwards and use the grey jewellery box for storing your jewellery at home or when travelling. The only thing left to do is enjoy your new jewellery!

Hopefully you will find all the information you need to feel confident when buying your new jewellery from my website, but if you need help, I am here to answer any questions you might have, no matter how big or small. There is a chat box in the bottom right hand corner of the website, you can email info@rachelswan.com or call or text 00 353 (0) 87 2807609

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase there is a no quibble refund. Simply contact Rachel and a refund will be organised.

A few things to note:

  • If you’d like a different length chain than stated, just write a little note in the checkout page, in the chat box or send me an email and I can sort that out for you.

  • Choosing your ring size- if you’re not sure, don’t worry. If it’s not a the right fit, I can change that at any time for you.

So there you have it - hopefully that was a simple guide to shopping my handmade jewellery online. I always love to hear customer feedback so if there’s something you feel that could be added to the site - please do let me know info@rachelswan.com
